The role of Shell Ethics and Compliance Office (SECO) is to sustain a culture and a structure within which all decisions and actions in support of the Shell strategy are aligned with Shell's core value, the SGBP and Code of Conduct. The Legal Counsel Trade Controls is part of SECO and supports the purpose and goals of the SECO organization by providing sound legal advice on Export Control and Trade Sanction laws and regulations. The counsel works closely with Trade Control Managers designated by Shell Businesses and Functions, providing advice and guidance towards implementation of effective trade compliance programs.
