The goal of this conference on institutions and instruments to control global environmental change is to, on the one hand analyse the state of the art with respect to research conducted in the Netherlands concerning the role of institutions and instruments to control global environmental change; on the other hand the conference also aims at identifying the possible Dutch contribution to international plans within the IHDP-framework.
